GETTING TO KNOW COACH…

DAN WILLIAMS

1. Current team(s) you coach: U12 Girls & U10 Boys

2. Coaching experience:  Started coaching at DSC in 2011 so I could teach the game I love to my daughters.

3. Playing experience: I grew up in Taiwan and began playing soccer when I was 9 years old. I played at an International High School where most of the players where European. My Coach Boyd Aitken taught me the passion for the game. I was fortunate to play and start all 4 years at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. After college I played for the Atlanta Express and Coach Mike Morgan who is still coaching in the Atlanta area.

4. Favorite soccer teams: Tottenham Hotspur Football Club

5. Favorite soccer player: "Gazza" Paul Gascoigne

6. Favorite movie: The movie "Victory" with Pele and Bobby Moore

7. Favorite book: The Call of the Wild by Jack London

8. Favorite foods: I grew up eating Chinese so this is my comfort food.

9. Special interests: Now that I can't play soccer effectively anymore it's golf!
